S/4 HANA implementation project for a major transportation equipment manufacturer

Project Purpose

Change the way you work through the introduction of a new system (business reform). Core business will be thoroughly simplified, standardized and automated in accordance with the global standard SAP process. Aiming to reduce employees’ effort on mechanical tasks, and to create an environment where you can spend time on tasks creating value.

Issue

Inefficient operations are being carried out which create no value. The existing core system lacks the functions and information necessary for manufacturing management, which leads to inefficient work. As a result, differences in the details of work due to differences in work experience, extra workload, and inefficient work methods exist everywhere.

Our Role

By leading the cost department, supporting the organization and analysis of the current business, and implementing the fit and gap with the new system, we clarify the ideal post-implementation state. Based on the contents, in order to streamline, standardize, and advance the business operations, we utilize our knowledge from past introduction projects, and are in charge of environment construction and training education in the area of management accounting for the new system.
